CPT-10922 Amazon Catalog Specialist

Independent Contractor – [eCommerce VA/Junior- Senior-Level] (Remote).

Overview

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Amazon Catalog Specialist to manage and optimize product listings across Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central. This role is responsible for ensuring catalog accuracy, resolving listing issues, and improving content quality to drive visibility and conversion. The ideal candidate has hands-on Amazon experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex catalog challenges.

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Scope of Services

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

● Manage and maintain product listings within Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central

● Troubleshoot and resolve catalog issues, including suppressed listings, detail page errors, stranded inventory, and variation inconsistencies

● Create, update, and optimize product listings, including titles, bullet points, and product descriptions in alignment with Amazon guidelines

● Build and manage parent-child variations to ensure proper catalog structure and customer experience

● Utilize and upload flat files (bulk templates) for efficient catalog updates and large-scale changes

● Work directly with Amazon Support and Brand Registry to open and manage cases, resolve listing conflicts, and enforce brand content

● Conduct regular detail page audits to identify opportunities for content improvement, compliance, and conversion optimization

● Upload and manage product images, ensuring they meet Amazon requirements and enhance the customer experience

● Monitor and report on catalog health, listing performance, and issue resolution status

● Update sales trackers and other internal reporting

Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.

Skills

The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:

● 1+ year experience with Amazon Vendor Central

● 1+ year experience with Amazon Seller Central

● Proven experience in troubleshooting Amazon catalog and listing issues

● Hands-on experience with flat files and bulk uploads

● Strong understanding of variation relationships and catalog structure

● Experience working with Amazon Support and Brand Registry case management

● Familiarity with Amazon listing guidelines, compliance policies, and best practices

● Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple listings and priorities

● Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for reporting

● Proficiency with Google Tools (Gmail, Tasks, Keep Notes, Google Sheets)

Preferred Skills

● Experience with catalog audits and SEO-driven content optimization

● Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly document issues and solutions

● Experience working in an agency or multi-brand environment is a plus

● Accurate and fully optimized product listings with minimal suppression issues

● Efficient resolution of catalog errors and support cases

● Improved detail page quality, consistency, and compliance

● Scalable processes for managing large catalogs and bulk updates

Work Schedule

  • Contracted Hours per Week: 20 Hours
  • Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday
  • Daily Working Time: EST. TBD

Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.

Terms of Engagement

  • Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
  • This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
  • All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
